What are your cleaning protocols in light of Covid-19?

What's included in the price?
All electricity, heating, linen & towels and wi-fi are included.
Our sister business Birchbrae Highland Lodges has a dual EV charger which can be used for charging electric vehicles - and it's only a 3 minute drive away.
We also provide an initial supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, bin liners, kitchen roll, toilet rolls and hand wash to help you settle in before you find the nearest supermarket. Other items provided include a torch, clothes airer, an iron and ironing board as well as a hairdryer per bedroom. Please bring washing powder as this is not supplied.
Please note that we do not have a license to provide any food stuffs at all.
Can I charge my electric vehicle at Heatherbank?
Our sister business Birchbrae Highland Lodges has a dual EV charger on site which can be used for charging electric vehicles. Electric vehicles must not be charged from the Cottage.
I am disabled. Will I be able to come to Heatherbank Cottage?
Do you provide baby cots and high chairs?
Yes, these can be hired for your stay. Please select each item at our online checkout. Please note that cot bedding is not provided.
What activities are there to do?
The Lochaber area is known as the 'Outdoor Capital of the UK' and as such, there are many things to see and do. From walking to cycling and wildlife tours to skiing, there’s something for everyone. For our selection of the best, click here. We have also secured a 20% discount on local leisure and adventure activities.
Our Cottage has wireless Broadband internet, 50″ flat screen surround sound cinema Smart TV.
Do you have laundry facilities?
Heatherbank Cottage has a washing machine and we supply an airer for indoors and a washing line for outdoor drying. Please bring your own washing powder as this is not supplied.
What happens if I have to cancel?
Cancellations must be made in writing by the individual who placed the booking. The deposit is refundable only if a written request to cancel the booking is received prior to the balance due date which falls due 14 days prior to your arrival. We recommend that you arrange your own travel insurance. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further detail.
Is the Cottage Dog Friendly?
Yes, Heatherbank Cottage is dog friendly.
Dogs love holidays too and we’re delighted to allow well behaved dogs at Heatherbank. (maximum of 2 dogs are permitted). There’s a small charge of £30 per dog, per stay and we provide dog bowls, a dog blanket, treats and poop bags.

Do you offer short breaks?
Yes, we offer short breaks all year round. For our best prices and availability, book online.
Which pets are allowed at Heatherbank Cottage?
Dogs are allowed at Heatherbank Cottage. We allow 2 dogs and there is a £30 charge per dog, per stay. We do not allow dogs to be left on their own in the Cottage and they must be kept off the beds and furniture. The nearest dog kennels are in Annat, Fort William (Camus Na Ha Kennels 01397 772574) or Highbridge Kennels and Cattery at Spean Bridge (01397 712567). Sorry but we do not accept cats or any other pets.
If we want to dine out, are there any restaurants locally?
There are a number of restaurants between Glencoe and Onich and Fort William offers a wide further selection. Many of the local bars and restaurants are dog friendly. For details on the immediate area, click here.
