Our
Ethos
We are Jim and Pauline Drummond, the owners of Heatherbank Cottage. We purchased Heatherbank in 2023 as an extension to our sister business Birchbrae Highland Lodges. We started off on this journey in 2016 with a dream of offering people the perfect location to holiday in Lochaber; a place we spent many years visiting for our own family holidays. Ensuring that our guests love this wonderful part of the world as much as we do is our number one priority. We are a family business with our son helping out remotely and we have a small but wonderful team.
Lochaber is famed for its rugged wilderness, family friendly community and access to the world of outdoor sports. These are the principles which guide us. We have a duty and responsibility to do all we can to support nature to thrive on our grounds; from maintaining bee friendly wildflowers, to providing feeders for resident red squirrels.
We hope that you choose to stay at Heatherbank Cottage and love this area as much as we do. If you have any questions about staying with us, please contact us.
Our Cottage &
Sustainability
