Dogs are Welcome

The garden at Heatherbank is large and unfenced. There are often Highland Cattle in a neighbouring field too so it’s essential that dogs are kept on a lead around the Cottage. We’re close by to an ancient forest with lots of interesting smells and places to explore. You can also take a short walk to the shores of Loch Linnhe, the ideal place for paws splashing in rockpools! Other walks in the area include the Glencoe Lochan – a safe place to be let off the lead, and the Inchree Waterfalls. Many more walks can be found on Discover Glencoe. Many of the restaurants and bars in the local area are pet friendly too so you can take your dogs with you if you decide to eat out.
Loads of Walks in the Area
There are endless opportunities for walks in the area whether its a gentle forest ramble or a munro bagging mission, there's something for paws big and small. Check out our easy walks page for details.

Magical!
To be able to watch sailing yachts on Loch Linnhe and listen to the sound of waves lapping on the shore, while sitting on the patio, is just magical.

Peaceful
A very peaceful and beautiful location. Walks from the Cottage, including a couple of pubs, beach 3 minutes - take a camping chair and a book and just sit on the beach all day.
